New Zealand experiances a maritime climate, its mostly temperate with sharp regional contrasts.

New Zealand has a mild climate. There's high rainfall on the west coast, but lots of sunshine. The summers get hot. In spring an autumn the colours are fantastic and we get crisp snow especially in the south island on the alps and also on the volcanic plateu in the central north island in winter. There are things to do and see all year round.
