Swimming with real live sharks might seem a bit stupid, but when it?s done in perfect safety with fully qualified instructors, it can be one of the most amazing underwater experiences of your life.

Head off to the Poor Knights Islands. There are well over 40 dive sites here, many of them world class.

From the safety of a tough metal cage, equipped with full scuba gear you can see a fantastic variety of stunning underwater life. From perfectly harmless tropical fish to Bronze Whaler Shark, Sevengill and Wobbegong sharks and giant stingrays! You won't believe your eyes.

You won't need any diving experience, as full training is given. If you haven't dived before you can spend a day at Kelly Tarlton?s doing the Discover Scuba Course. It will teach you all the basics, enabling you to go into the water with the sharks on your first day! The discover Scuba course also counts towards the international PADI Dive Certificate.

Groups are small, there are normally only around three people per dive. The instructors will make sure you are in safe hands at all times and that all equipment is properly checked.

This is a chance to get close to some of the most fascinating and revered creatures in our oceans - an opportunity not to be missed!
