The International Festival of Arts is one of the most celebrated and extensive multi arts event in the country. Don't miss it if you get the chance! It's the country's main cultural event; it's held in Wellington in late summer every two years.

It's a vibrant mix of street theatre, comedy, music and film festivals. There's something for everyone. Its three full weeks packed with a massive range of performing, visual and literary arts events. There is over a hundred different events taking place within the three weeks including; dance, exhibitions, festivals, free events, Maori cultural events, musical and outdoor events and of course, performing arts events.
