See the real New Zealand! Travel with the Postie to over ten bays spectacular delivering the mail to far-flung farming families in the isolated communities.

Spin around lonely unpaved roads, hear all the latest community gossip (which sheep said what to who), and see some stunning landscapes at the same time.

This is an exceptional trip, an experience not to be missed. Imagine seeing both sides of the Banks Peninsula at the same time from a height of over 2000 feet.
If the conditions are good you can see all of the Kaikoura Range, the peak of Mount Cook and sometimes all the way to the southern tip of North Island.

The trip costs around $45 per person and takes about four and a half hours. Make sure you book in advance and get there early. It departs from The Akaroa's Visitor Centre at 9.00am sharp and returns at 1.30pm. Snack and beverage are included - picnic style- beachfront. (Not suitable for young children.) Closed over winter and reopening in mid September.
